what I do now
I work at DummyTicket24. Most of the job is customer support: answering emails, sorting out problems, making sure people get what they paid for.
The rest of the time I write the guides on the site. They are about visas and the documents you need for them. Most people who write in are in the middle of an application and are not sure what to send. I try to be useful.
why onward tickets
Kuala Lumpur, 2019. One-way to Bali, no return, and the woman at the check-in desk would not print my boarding pass until I could show her how I was leaving Indonesia. It took an hour at the counter to sort out and I nearly missed the flight. That was the first I had heard of the rule, and the first I had heard that there are services which exist for exactly this.
So when DummyTicket24 was looking for someone to run support and write their guides in 2024, I applied.
